Unsolicited proposals
If you have a product or idea you want to bring to our attention but it does not address a current advertised need above, you can submit an unsolicited proposal.
The NIC has established a collective process for considering if your proposal might address any emerging S&T requirements.
If your proposal could address a critical NIC requirement, we may contact you to seek further information or arrange a follow-up engagement with relevant NIC agencies. (Note this does not constitute part of a procurement process – any procurement will remain in accordance with the Commonwealth’s Procurement Rules(Opens in a new tab/window)).
Alternatively, you may receive a response thanking you for engaging with us, but that your proposal is not a priority or suitable for the NIC at this time.
Your proposal must be completed at the Official classification level.
